Ubud also offers waterfalls to be enjoyed. Tegenungan Waterfall, however, needs to be treated differently. On rainy season, the water turns brown and muddy and might be contaminated, resulting the unavailability to swim in it. So, you need to plan your trip here specially. The access is very easy; reaching the waterfalls would require descending through around 70 stairs.

We only take clients here when they insist on visiting a waterfall and not being physically capable to do long walks.

The area is known to be one of the last two sites where endangered Bali Starling lives, and several can be observed in the national park office. Guided sunset horseback riding is also offered, which can be done even by first timers.
